Graz University of Technology and the Teachers Training Academy Styria
have just started a 4 years PhD program to improve the scientific basis
of teaching in Austrian schools. There are 9 such programs on Austria
with different topics funded by the Austrian Ministry for Research and
Education. The focus of our program is on ICT and AI and offers 6 PhD
positions in total, fully funded for 4 years. 2 positions related to
AI4K12  will focus on the development and in particular the sound
evaluation of AI4K12 material (position 5) and the investigation and
integration of teachers' needs and competencies for teaching AI4K12
(position 6).
