This is a reminder that registration is still open for the "Teaching AI
in K-12" symposium on Friday/Saturday November 8-9, 2019, in Arlington,
Virginia. The symposium is part of the AAAI 2019 Fall Symposium Series.
Our keynote speaker will be Hal Abelson of MIT. Other featured speakers
include Miles Berry, Cynthia Breazeal, Stephania Druga, Sarah Judd,
Shriram Krishnamurthi, Ning Wang & James Lester, and Tom Yeh.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION FOR K-12 TEACHERS:
As part of its ongoing outreach efforts, AAAI is offering drastically
reduced registration rates for practicing K-12 teachers who wish to
attend the symposium. K-12 teachers can register at the "student
member" rate of $225, which is less than half the non-student, non-AAAI
member rate of $560. When registering, you may be asked to provide
proof that you are currently employed as a K-12 teacher.
We look forward to seeing you in November!
