At the
6th Future Worlds Symposium held last year on the topic of
“Living in an AI World”, we proposed to set up a special work group on AI and Education. The Industry Co-Chair will be Rishab Banga out of Palo Alto and Academia Co-Chair is Alicia Caddell, CTE Coordinator, Folsom Cordova Unified School District.
Subsequent to this, I gave a brief 30 mins Intro to Gen AI and its Applications at the Faculty Development program for MIT School of Computing
and invited Bob Duffy from Intel as well..

We are a TK-8 school. On our Feb 20 in-service day, we have an hour allocated to an all staff AI in education discussion.
1. Has anyone done this before?
2. What are some suggestions for short/useful articles to read and/or discussion questions?
