Anderson University's Professional and Lifelong Learning Institute, in collaboration

with Community Code, is offering a one-day teacher professional development workshop on
Artificial Intelligence for K-12 Educators - Fundamentals.

Details:

The workshop will cover the Five-Big Ideas in AI, describe the current state of AI, its future, limitations, and impact on society, and help educators to prepare their students to be literate in an AI-driven society.

 

The workshop consists of 6 hours of instruction on Zoom, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern time, plus 2 hours of follow-up work to be performed individually. 

 

Target Audience

The workshop is designed for any subject area teacher; no computer science experience is required. Registration is open to educators in any state.

 

*Continuing Education Credits 

A Certificate of Completion from Anderson University will be awarded. Certificate will recognize 8 Technology Teacher Development hours (includes online course content). Please note: The technology teacher professional development hours were developed primarily for SC educators and districts. Teachers are responsible for checking with their districts on how this meets specific continuing education requirements.
